The A1 Concrete Leveling national meeting was held this past week in Akron, Ohio from January 27th-29th. A-1 Concrete Leveling Corporate hosted other franchise owners from around the country to discuss business strategy, the future of A-1, and to celebrate collectively our successes. What a great way to learn from some of the best and most experienced concrete levelers in the country while having a little fun!!!
During the meeting there were a variety of presentations including the foam injection application, web-site SEO optimization and site development, alternative fuel options for our pumping trucks and a point of sale marketing presentation. The meeting also included a speech by former Cleveland Indian’s player and equally successful businessman Andre “Thunder” Thornton; he is incredibly talented and smoother than silk!!!
This past year the A-1 Family lost the inventor and creator of our patented pumping system and founder of A-1 Concrete Leveling, Grover Miller on September 17th, 2013. He was truly our Colonel Sanders of concrete leveling and a remarkable man!!!! Therefore A-1 Corporate created the “Grover Miller Legacy Award” which exemplified trouble-shooting, persistence, innovation and generally “getting it done and done right”. The award was given at our Awards Dinner and was won by Ryan Reese from A-1 Concrete Leveling Indianapolis and there is not a more deserving guy!!!
