SOLUTION: HOME FOUNDATIONS

HOME FOUNDATIONS

Sinking Home Foundations occur over time and can cause serious structural problems.

Signs of a Sinking Concrete Foundation in your Home

If you notice cracks in your brick, you may need A1 Concrete Leveling or another foundation concrete company to make an evaluation. Often these cracks indicate that the foundation of the home or structure is shifting causing stress on the mortar joints. Fireplaces and brick stairs are common areas where these foundation-related cracks may appear. Patching the crack simply puts a cosmetic repair on the problem. If the problem is caused by a sinking foundation, you will want to address the root problem before making any cosmetic repairs. A stable foundation should have little or no crack lines in the brickwork. At A1 Concrete Leveling and Foundation, we offer free estimates to residents throughout the Pittsburgh, PA; Erie, PA; Cranberry Township, PA; Washington, PA, and Youngstown, OH areas. Our concrete contractors have helped many clients throughout the years by providing concrete leveling services. Schedule a free estimate today for any type of concrete repair at your home like driveways, sidewalks, porches, and more.

What is the Process

Concrete Leveling

Over time water seepage, faulty drainage, poor compaction, and the freeze-thaw cycle result in settling which affects your concrete’s base, resulting in a void. It is also known as concrete lifting. Concrete leveling works by filling the void. After drilling a series of 1″ holes, a high-density limestone grout is pressure-injected to fill the void. Once the void is filled, the slab is stabilized and slowly raised to desired height. The holes are then capped and the concrete is ready for immediate use. As a cost and time-efficient alternative to concrete replacement, concrete leveling eliminates unnecessary concrete production and installation. We replace earth with more stable earth, repairing concrete surfaces in an environmentally responsible way. If you have sinking concrete on your property, don’t wait; call us to schedule an appointment as soon as possible. We are a concrete contractor serving Pittsburgh, PA; Erie, PA; Cranberry Township, PA; Washington, PA; and Youngstown, OH.
